Boston Baroque patrons Lia Poorvu ’56, Susan Maycock ’65, Anne-Marie Souliere ’69, and Executive Director Jennifer Hughes ’06 are delighted to invite Wellesley alumnae and friends to the organization’s performances of Handel’s sublime oratorio, Jephtha, at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall. The program, conducted by five-time Grammy nominee and founding music director Martin Pearlman, featured Boston Baroque’s award-winning chorus and orchestra, and an all-star cast including tenor Nicholas Phan in the title role, countertenor Randall Scotting as Hamor, soprano Ava Pine as Iphis, mezzo-soprano Ann McMahon Quintero as Storge, bass-baritone Dashon Burton as Zebul, and soprano Sonja Tengblad as the Angel.
